It’s been a hard day’s night!

Team Haglöfs Silva left the transition 03.30 am wednesday morning for a long trek over the mountains, and according to racedirectors calculations it would take roughly 10-12 hours to finish the leg. But it proved to be harder than anyone could have imagined. All the teams struggled on the course, probably because of all the up’s and downs in the hills. Making it a slow and hard trek.

I met the team out on the course and they do looked strong even though Björn was having  some pain in his feet. He kept on going, showing that it wouldn’t stop him. They made a beautiful abseil just before sunset and it was stunning.

The team slept for 1,5 hours in TA5 and has just left for the big mtb-cycling – that is going to take them all around the whole valley and lead them to the paddle tomorrow. The bikeleg is changed, and the racedirector has cut a couple of checkpoints because of the timeschedule is off, letting all of the teams cycle a more straight on road towards the finishline. Estimated finishtime will be thursday afternoon or evening.
