Wulong mountain quest coming up

The team is now on their way to China for their first time racing Wulong Mountain Quest in Chongqing. This is the 11th edition of the race. The line up will be Aaron Prince, Josefina Wikberg, Mattias Nyström and Emil Dahlqvist (FJS). We are happy that Emil could make it on such short notice. Emil got his VISA application approved yesterday and leave today. The team will meet up in Helsinki and do the last flight to Chongqing together.

The race starts on Wednesday 4th September with a prologue in the mountains with running, mountainbiking and emperor chair carrying. Thursday to Saturday will be about 6-8 hours a day with mountainbiking, running, kayaking, canyoning, caving and rope works. Most of the race will be a marked course, but there will be one orienteering section and one GPS orienteering section.

The film from last year will tell you a little about the race and the nature we will see:

During the race it will probably be easiest to follow us on our website and our Facebook page.
