After two days of racing Baise Outdoor Quest, team Haglöfs Silva is in 4th position, behind Raw team (FRA/AUS), Team O2B (NZ) and Thule Adventure Team (SWE, NZ, CZK). First race day (total race time for Haglöfs Silva 5h50min) was very tough with a running section that took way longer than expected where many teams ran out of water.
Day two was shorter and faster. After 3h35 minutes of racing, Haglöfs Silva was 15 minutes behind the two teams in front but only 2 minutes behind Thule. SAFAT (SWE) are only some 5 minutes behind Haglöfs Silva in the total standing. We expect some hard and intense racing the two remaining days, race course for tomorrow expected to take 7 hours+. Still several thousand meters to climb and hundreds of kilometers to be covered.
BTW, Corrinnes bike has finally arrived. Busy night for the team to get it together, but hopefully having her own bike will make them even faster.
Picture stolen from Thule Adventure Team. Finding pictures from China racing is as challenging as always, but understanding the GPS tracker even harder.
Hopefully more information can be found at www.cmaar.com in a near future…
